The SC400 is a fully automated carbon fiber evaporation coater designed for SEM and TEM sample preparation. Utilizing advanced W-type carbon rope evaporation technology with user-selectable flash and pulse modes, the system delivers high-quality conductive carbon films with exceptional efficiency and reproducibility. With one-touch operation, a 7-inch touchscreen interface, and a motorized rotating stage, the SC400 streamlines routine carbon coating workflows for multi-user laboratories.

• One-Touch Coating, Fully Automatic Operation 

Press the "One-Touch Coating" button and the system automatically completes the full sequence: pump-down → evaporation → vacuum venting for immediate sample retrieval. No operator intervention required.


• User-Defined Carbon Rope Consumption 

Carbon rope usage quantity is fully customizable via the touchscreen, allowing precise control over film thickness and material consumption tailored to specific application needs.


• W-Type Evaporation Source 

The W-type source geometry maximizes carbon rope utilization efficiency, delivering more coatings per set of ropes and reducing consumable costs over time.


• Dual Evaporation Modes 

Flash mode enables rapid deposition for thicker carbon films with high efficiency; Pulse mode allows precise thickness control by setting the number of evaporation pulses, minimizing thermal impact on heat-sensitive samples.


• Automatic Carbon Rope Detection 

Accommodates up to 4 carbon rope sources. The system automatically detects rope status at startup, displays it on the home screen, and updates rope continuity in real time during operation — eliminating guesswork.


• 7-Inch Color Touchscreen Control 

Intuitive interface for parameter setup, real-time monitoring of current, voltage, vacuum level, carbon rope usage count, and equipment total runtime.


• Motorized Rotating Sample Stage 

Ø80 mm stage holds up to 14 standard SEM pin stubs. Motorized rotation with customizable speed profile ensures uniform carbon film deposition. Optional tilt function (0–40°) available.


• On-the-Fly Parameter Adjustment 

Working pressure (0.5–10 Pa) and other critical parameters can be adjusted in real time during the coating cycle, with changes taking effect immediately.
